This is particularly hilarious to me because Smith is my maiden name. This is also a good argument for our practice of marking comments or incomplete text with @@@ at work: it stands out a lot more than random filler does, and has less chance of making it to print (not that we’ve never slipped up). Thankfully, the technical manuals we write don’t have quite as wide a reader base as the average newspaper.
